XPRESS Ventures is a pre-seed investor focused on the Digital Industry, targeting the following areas: AI Applications, B2B (Enterprise) SaaS, Energy and Climate, Logistics/Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Mobility, and Real Estate.

We aim to invest and grow great businesses by giving founders access to capital, infrastructure, expertise, and a network of customers, VCs, and talent.

Founded in 2020, XPRESS manages a portfolio of 5 startups in last mile, pharma, on-demand retail, fulfillment, and ERP-SaaS. As part of FIEGE Logistics, one of Europe's leading contract logistics companies, XPRESS consists of a team of 4 former founders and innovators based in Berlin.

To continue supporting the best startups in the logistics ecosystem, we are looking for an Analyst!

Join high-priority projects to invest in the next start-ups with us. Expect a steep learning curve, growth opportunities, autonomy, and ownership coupled with practical guidance from our experienced team.

Your role:

• From day one, you will be an integral part of the investment team.
• Assist in the deal flow process by sourcing and analyzing new investment cases.
• Perform in-depth qualitative and quantitative market research around the hottest topics in our investment thesis.
• Create detailed reports and presentation materials to support investment decisions.
• Develop points of view and strategic insights to drive investment decisions through rigorous research.
• Collaborate with team members to refine investment strategies and identify key opportunities.

Your profile:

• You are passionate about the intersection of entrepreneurship, technology, and industries ripe for transformation like Supply Chain, Logistics, Real Estate, and Enterprise SaaS.
• You are a well-structured, analytical, and entrepreneurial thinker.
• You are a problem-solver and a strong team player, skilled in managing various stakeholders simultaneously.
• You are motivated, hungry to learn, and eager to contribute to the team's success.

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree focusing on business, entrepreneurship, economics, mobility, engineering, computer science, or supply chain management.
• Relevant working experience in dynamic environments such as start-ups, venture capital, banking, or consulting. VC experience is a plus.
• Excellent proficiency in handling MS Office applications.
• Fluent in English and German (B2); proficiency in French is a plus.
